ROMINA CERVIGNI

Chief Scientific Officer

Romina Inés Cervigni, obtained a PhD from Open University in the United Kingdom focusing her attention on the field of oncology and a second level Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics. She has collaborated as a postdoctoral researcher with the National Research Committee (CNR) in Naples and the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan.

NICOLE LABAGUER

Nutritional biologist

Nutritional biologist with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Eastern Piedmont A. Avogadro and a master’s degree in Applied Biology in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Milan. She carried out an annual internship at the Nutrition Center in Mangiagalli Clinic, Milan in  which she worked on a research project on the quality of maternal nutrition and on the quality of breast milk. Currently enrolled in the National Order of Biologists and qualified as a freelancer, after a period of training at the Fondazione Valter Longo, she is a member of the nutrition team of the Fondazione Valter Longo dealing with health care in the nutritional field, training projects, and research.

MARTA VENEZIANO

Nutritional biologist

Nutritional biologist who completed her studies at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome where she obtained the degree of Master of Science in Food Sciences and Human Nutrition. Driven by a strong interest and attention towards innovative approaches and encouraging research in the field of Nutrition, with the aim of implementing traditional treatments and improving personal well-being, she began to collaborate with Fondazione Valter Longo supporting their activities with great enthusiasm and passion.

ALEXIA PERUZZO

Nutritional biologist

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, followed by a master’s degree in Food Sciences and Human Nutrition from University of Milan and a Master in Sports Nutrition at Liverpool John Moores University. Alexia had professional experience in sports clubs such as the youth sector of A.C. Milan and the first female team of Liverpool Football Club. After being licensed as nutritional biologist, she worked in a clinic focused on functional medicine and nutrition. She is now part of the nutrition team at Fondazione Valter longo.

GHINA AL HAJ

Ph.D, Nutrition Researcher

Ghina AL Haj holds a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from University of Milan in Italy focusing her attention on the effect of dietary bioactive compounds and their health implications in metabolic diseases, such as obesity. Her professional career also includes a second level master’s in Food Sciences and Human Nutrition and a bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences. Ghina has a considerable research experience and is focusing on how nutrients are used by the body, and the relationship between diet, health, and disease. She is currently part of the nutrition team at Fondazione Valter Longo, where she is involved in research on the longevity diet and the fasting mimicking diet.

ELEONORA LUVARÀ

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, she is a master’s student in Applied Biology in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Milan and an intern at Fondazione Valter Longo, she collaborates within the nutrition team.

VIVIANA DELLO IOIO

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in food technology from the University of Naples Federico II. She is currently completing her master’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Milan. She is an intern and collaborates with the nutrition team at Fondazione Valter Longo.
